Find my answerGeneral
Documents, support and individual project needs.
Do you serve individuals, professionals and businesses?
Yes. We specialise in translation for personal, professional and business needs, from certificates, diplomas and CVs to contracts and manuals. The purpose and receiving institution’s requirements guide the choice of general, technical or sworn translation.
Do you have internal team or partner network?
Both. We coordinate internal teams and validated partners by specialty area.
What are the most common documents?
We support personal, professional and business needs: certificates, diplomas, CVs, manuals, contracts, reports, presentations and communications content. The subject area and intended use guide the choice of service.
Do you share references?
We can provide contacts with authorization.
Is a pilot possible?
Yes, we evaluate scope and deadlines.
Who is the blog for?
Individuals, professionals and businesses who need to translate documents, prepare content or organise multilingual events. The guides help readers choose services and prepare a quote request.
Can I suggest topics?
Yes. Send through the form.
Services
Translation, interpreting and material preparation.
Which languages and formats do you support?
We translate in over 40 languages. Send the language pair and file to confirm availability and the final format. Documents, presentations and graphic materials may require different workflows.
Is it possible to integrate with our systems?
Tell us which systems, file formats and workflow your team uses. We assess compatibility and content exchange before defining the project. Specific integrations require a separate assessment.
Can you work with InDesign and Illustrator?
Yes. Desktop publishing can include InDesign and Illustrator materials. We assess source files, fonts, images and output requirements to define the preparation and checks included in delivery.
Do you issue physical copies?
Yes, when required. We organize shipping according to standards.
Who performs the sworn translation?
Licensed public/sworn translators.
Do you provide apostille (Hague Apostille)?
Ask our team about guidance and coordination of apostille services through partners. Support depends on the documents and requirements presented; the scope and responsibilities must be set out in the proposal.
Do you provide equipment?
We offer interpreting equipment rental. The setup is defined according to the event format, venue and audience. Tell us whether you also need interpreters and technical support so the proposal can specify each service.
How many interpreters per language?
Staffing depends on the interpreting mode, duration, languages and event format. For simultaneous interpreting, the proposal defines the team composition and organization of sessions.
Do you provide remote interpretation?
Yes. To plan remote interpreting, we need to know the platform, languages, duration and meeting format. Audio and operational requirements are assessed during planning.
Do you preserve styles and fonts?
Preserving styles and fonts depends on the source file, available resources and target language. During desktop publishing, we assess the adjustments needed and agree any substitutions with the client.
Do you deliver PDF/X for printing?
We can assess PDF/X preparation as part of a desktop publishing project. Send the printer’s specifications so the output profile and required checks can be defined before delivery.
Do you adjust graphics and tables?
Editing charts and tables can be part of desktop publishing. Whether each element can be modified depends on the source files; the proposal defines which adjustments and checks are included.
Pricing
The factors that shape your quote.
How is the price calculated?
Considers volume, complexity, languages and additional services (DTP, sworn translation, etc.).
Process
Deadlines, files and project stages.
What formats do you receive/deliver?
We work with documents and materials in formats such as DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, InDesign and Illustrator. The source file and intended use guide the assessment of editability, layout and delivery format. Send the material so we can determine what can be preserved.
How do deadlines and SLAs work?
We size by volume and complexity; we negotiate SLAs with quality milestones and continuous communication.
Do you handle urgent requests?
Yes, we evaluate feasibility and adjust the team and SLA.
Do you meet urgent deadlines?
We evaluate case by case and prioritize critical flows.
What are typical deadlines?
Depend on scope and agreed SLA.
How do we send large files?
Check the formats and size limit shown in the quote form. If your material cannot be attached, describe its volume and formats so the team can arrange how to receive it.
Quality
Review, terminology and information handling.
Is translation done by AI or humans?
For Opportunity Translations services, the team and use of technology are defined by the content and purpose of the project. Braivix allows you to process files with AI independently; specialized human review must be included in the service you commission.
How is confidentiality guaranteed?
Restricted access policies, NDAs, secure storage and LGPD compliance.
Do you produce glossaries per client?
We can organize glossaries and terminology references to support consistency across projects. The use of translation memories and maintenance of these resources are defined in the service scope. This does not mean that Braivix stores a translation memory of processed files.
Is there validation by industry specialist?
The subject matter guides the selection of professionals. The need for technical review and the validation steps are defined in the proposal according to the material’s intended use.
Does AI replace the human reviewer?
Automation and specialist review serve different purposes. AI can support processing, while human review assesses the text against its intended use. The service agreement should define when this review takes place and what it covers.
Can you create glossaries for our sector?
Yes. We create glossaries by sector, product and brand.
How do you measure quality?
Through QA checklists, sampling and internal audits.
Do you validate by industry specialist?
When a project requires specialist validation, we agree the subject area, references and review steps before work begins. Include technical requirements when requesting a proposal.
Braivix
AI automation and its relationship with specialist services.
Does Braivix replace human translation?
Braivix is Opportunity Translations’ own digital ecosystem for AI automation, enabling linguistic tasks through the platform. The need for human review depends on the purpose and risk of the content. For critical materials, we recommend specialist assessment; Opportunity Translations services are commissioned under an agreed scope.
How does Braivix handle files and usage history?
Processed files are deleted after download. If not downloaded, they are automatically deleted 24 hours after processing finishes. The platform may retain operational usage metadata, without keeping file contents or a translation memory. Content is not used to train its AI internally.
Who is Braivix indicated for?
For individuals, professionals and businesses who need to translate documents, extract and translate text from images, or transcribe audio and video independently. The platform and Opportunity Translations specialist services address different needs and can be combined according to the project.
Can it be used together with Opportunity Translations services?
Yes. You can use Braivix and request services such as specialist translation, review, desktop publishing or interpreting from Opportunity Translations. The team assesses the material and prepares a separate proposal; subscribing to the platform does not automatically include these services.
Have a question about your project?
Share your material or event details, the languages and your deadline. Our team will prepare a proposal for you.
